Sky
Within every goal lies impossible limits the we can only dream about, it's only when we touch the ground that those dreams turn to dust. Oh what irony that the distance of what we thought possible remains impossible unless we think otherwise.
Have i lost myself this far and stood on lower grounds, as though bowing in the luxury of the dust covered surface.
Oh how lost have i become and to what extend. Never have i stood on firmer ground, never a conviction so clear it pierces my soul, oh that i should look back and fall below, oh what agony, oh what destiny, so thus i laugh with pride's gleeful plee.
As i stand in linger, oh what my fate laid. Oh, how long will i lay my head in this mire. Will i allow my body to stop time and convict me of my fate within. As i laugh mockingly at the disparity that circumstance seems to offer. No i will not bow down, not now or ever. Even as my heart skips a beat and my world shatters to pieces, i will not let myself be shaken to the core. Trembling i lay to awaken my desires, trembling i lay to seek green pastures, oh that i would entangle in earth's deep labyrinths.
Forsaking my pride, i leave my head behind,
Forsaking my will, i leave my dust my behind,
Forsaking myself, i plunge forward towards the finish line.
Oh before i fall to the ground and mingle with the dust, will i leave an imprint behind that time will not fade.
"A man can run from all the thing in life, be it people, work, play or responsibilities but a man may never be able to run away from himself."
With this i place my head towards the sky, let my dust fall to the ground but let not my face, it's surface.
